Kathleen Korpita joined NSC in 2020 as the organization’s People Operations leader. She is charged with modernizing the organization’s human resources administration, talent management, and employee life cycle. Kathleen is passionate about growing a diverse workforce and defining and aligning human resource processes, talent and performance strategies, and organizational structure to meet the business’ needs.
With over 20 years of human resources and organizational development experience, she most recently served as the Head of Talent Management at Steel Partners Holdings, where she designed the talent strategy for twelve companies in industries including aerospace, industrial products, energy, defense, supply chain management, distribution, banking, and youth sports. Prior to Steel Partners, she ran a coaching and development business for eight years – partnering with people for career development and with companies for business success. Kathleen developed and implemented people strategies throughout her career for companies such as Cox Automotive, Foster Wheeler, and Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey.
Kathleen holds a Bachelor’s in Pre-Law Studies and Education from King’s College, a Master’s in Education and Human Behavior from Lehigh University, and a Master’s in Business Administration in Human Resources Management and Services from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She also holds various licenses and certifications, including a post-graduate certificate from The Wharton School of Business for their Women’s Executive Leadership Program.
