Talent Acquisition Representative 2

 

NSC Technologies is currently hiring Talent Acquisition Representative 2 in Newport News, VA. The ideal candidate must have four years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Representative 2.

Position Summary

  • Conducts interviews to recruit prospective employees and refers applicants to specific job openings.
  • Evaluates employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities, physical and personal qualifications, and other data pertinent to classification, selection, and referral.
  • Prepares ratings on applicants, recommends starting salaries, and provides applicants with information on the company.
  • May administer tests and interpret results, check references, arrange transportation of selected applicants, extend formal job offers, work with outside agencies and vendors, etc.
  • Leveling Factors: Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards.
  • General application of concepts and principles.
  • Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks.

  • Liaison Frequent internal company and external contacts.
  • Represents organization on specific projects. May make presentations to small groups.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors in a related field and three years of relevant professional experience.
  • One year of relevant experience with a Master's degree.

Special Requirements:

  • The resource will need to be onsite 100% for three weeks of training. Once training is complete, the help can work from home 2-3 days a week.
  • This person may be required to drive to local recruiting events.
  • This person will; Conducts interviews to recruit prospective employees and refers job applicants to specific job openings.

  • May administer tests and interpret results, check references, arrange transportation of selected applicants, extend formal job offers, work with outside agencies and vendors, etc. • Responsible for full-cycle recruiting process to fill open positions and meet staffing goals. Sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating the interview process, developing and extending offers, and ensuring the stakeholders have a pleasant experience.
  • Develop relationships and partner with hiring managers and business leaders.
  • Work closely with Hiring Managers to maximize the effectiveness of recruiting process
  • Develop and execute recruiting strategies utilizing tools such as direct sourcing, online resume databases, social networking, and job events.
  • Work with hiring managers to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.
  •  Regular follow-up with the hiring managers and candidates to ensure the timeliness of the recruitment process.
