Staff Matters, LLC a subsidiary of NSC has an immediate opening for a Quality Engineer in Tucson, Arizona.

Job Title: Quality Engineer – Direct Hire
Salary: $75k

Job duties:
Quality Engineering duties include, but are not limited to:
1.1. Metrology
• ISIR/FAI reports for components produced off new tools
• Capability Studies
• Size verification of jigs and Go / No Go Gauges
• Metrology support to Process Engineers during process optimization
• Complete Gauge R&R studies
• Recommendations based on statistical analysis of data to Process Engineers, Tooling Engineers and Customers
1.2. Calibration
• Perform or organize calibration to be performed according to the Calibration Schedule
• Add new calibration assets to the Calibration Schedule
• Identify calibration assets no longer in use
1.3. Training
• Provide training to manufacturing and quality staff on developed methods for monitoring components during production
• Train appropriate staff in use of new measuring equipment
1.4. General
• Represent Quality Engineering at various meetings (Validation, Customer, Quality Reviews, Sampling) and provide metrology input as required
• Produce and Approve metrology reports
• Generation of Quality Pictorials (tool used by production during in process inspection)
• Generation of Quality Alerts (tool used by production during in process inspection)
• Development of jigs and Go / No Go gauges for use in production
• Assist the Quality Control Manager during CAPA investigations & MRB/NCR Reviews
• To perform other Quality System duties as required
• Perform & contribute to audits (e.q., Customer, Internal, Safety, GEMBA, etc.)
• Determining quality improvement factors
• Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate the reliability of manufacturing processes, products and production equipment
• Making sure processes adhere to quality standards
• Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data
• Working in accordance with deadlines for delivery of products and/or services
