Master Scheduler

 

General Description: The Master Scheduler is a salaried exempt position reporting to the Manufacturing Manager. The position requires strong organizational skills to plan and manage production demand and work order sequencing across all manufacturing areas to meet customer must ship dates as negotiated through Client Program Managers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Lead a weekly Sales, Inventory, Operations, Planning (SIOP) meeting to establish a weekly production and shipping plan with internal customers using the IQMS ERP System
  • Develop and Manage a Master Schedule in IQMS to ensure backwards planning and sequencing of manufacturing work orders for Mill Room materials, testing, NDE, inspection and packaging/shipping tasks to support On Time Delivery (OTD) to the SIOP Plan
  • Work with IT and PEI Teams to fully implement the same Master Scheduling Process across all Client production areas
  • Develop and Improve utilization of IQMS in the forecasting and production planning processes

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree with 5 years related experience or 7 years related experience
  • Preferred experience in the following areas:
    • ERP System planning of materials and manufacturing processes
    • Forecasting and Demand Management analysis
    • Lean Manufacturing Concepts
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
    • Rubber and/or Composite Products Manufacturing
    • Experience working with AS9100 Quality Management Systems
    • Experience working in a DoD, ITAR, EAR environment
