Inside Sales
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers.
  • Provide customer support through knowledge of our products and their applications
  • Respond to inbound sales calls.
  • Complete Take-Offs
  • Maintain effective communication flow among customers (both internal and external to the company), management, and outside sales representatives.
  • Prepare and send submittal package to client's Distributor or Direct Buy customer after a Purchase Order has been received.
  • Prepare and submit Technical Service Request as needed for correct Bill of Materials after a Purchase Order has been received.
  • Research through various lead sources, including subscription services, construction, contractor, government and other internet websites for client's product opportunities.
  • Identify the Architectural/Engineering firms for specific projects then communicate the information to Specification Consultant or ASM to secure  specifications as needed.
  • Assist Architects, Engineers, Designers and  Distributors with technical and specification information for  products prior to purchase order submission, as needed.
  • Enter data from lead sources into Sales Management Software (CRM).  Forward each qualified lead to Area Sales Manager for referral to appropriate distributor.
  • Work with Area Sales Manager as necessary to determine the correct course of action and follow-up for each project.
  • Work with Technical Services team to obtain product layouts and Bill of Materials for projects.
  • Prepare and send quotations to contractors and price confirmations to distributors prior to bid dates or as requested.
  • Maintain Sales Management System (CRM) by entering accurate data and relevant information into the appropriate modules along with a follow-up action and date.
  • Follow up with project, participants to determine when a contract has been awarded to a general contractor or sub-contractor, obtain contractor's name and forward to Area Sales Manager for follow up.
  • Request and receive purchase orders from customers.  Pass them to CSR for processing.  Record sale data in (CRM).
  • Offer inside support to Field Sales staff.
