One of our clients, a well established software company, continues to grow and grow. We're searching for a talented individual to support their developers with database maintenance and optimization.
 
 Primary Responsibilities
    • Experience working as a database engineer, analyst, developer or related role
    • Beginner to Intermediate level T-SQL experience, including basic query tuning and optimization
    • Familiarity with reporting platforms, and some ability to translate business needs into functional and efficient T-SQL driven reports
    • SQL Server Administration experience is a plus
    • ETL experience is also a plus
    • Working knowledge of SSMS, and some knowledge of the other MS SQL Server Tools a plus
    • Ability to work with differing workflows, including agile, to quickly respond to a variety of business needs
    • Has some knowledge of best practices with regard to database development and coding standards
    • Experience with Source Control and workflow ticketing systems
    • Familiarity with SQL monitoring tools (Idera, Solarwinds, etc) a plus

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:
 
Previous experience of database administration or development.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent functional experience in the area.
