Mission & Responsibility to Environment, Health & Safety

Our Mission

NSC Technologies is committed to promoting a safety culture and pro-active environment of continuous improvement that will effectively identify and manage risk through recognition, evaluation, and educating our employees, contractors and clients. It is the policy of the Company to be in compliance with federal, state, and local safety and health regulations as well the latest professional practices to ensure every worker goes home safely.

Responsibility for Safety & Health

It is the intent of Executive Managers, Directors, Supervisors, etc., to provide for the health and safety of employees, contracted personnel and visitors engaged in activities under their supervision or contract management. They must make every reasonable effort to promote, create, and maintain a safe and healthful environment by adherence to basic safety principles, sound management practices, and compliance with applicable federal, state, and local codes, laws, and standards. Senior management will routinely review and revise our safety and health management systems to ensure its continuing adequacy and effectiveness.

It is the goal of the Company to be recognized by our customers, employees, contract personnel and community as a responsible business committed to the prevention of pollution, the reduction of waste and the minimization of resource consumption in all business activities.

Employee & Contractor Responsibilities

Each employee and contracted personnel is responsible for complying with the applicable provisions of environmental, health and safety standards and regulations promulgated by regulatory agencies. They must also adhere to all Company safety policies and procedures. NSC Technologies provides for and encourages effective involvement in its environmental, health and safety programs.

NSC Technologies is committed to the safety, health and well-being of its personnel. Safety is valued as our number one priority and the cornerstone of all processes.

NSC has four Authorized OSHA Maritime 10 hour and 30 hour trainers on staff. Two serving Hampton Roads, Virginia, one serving San Diego, California and one serving the Pearl Harbor region of Hawaii.
